Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a fully remote role. You will support the accuracy and quality of benefit plan data within the Simplify Benefits1 platform, focusing on QA, data validation, testing, reporting, and process improvement.

You will collaborate with product, IT, compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders to validate outputs, resolve issues, and implement enhancements that boost efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our benefits systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in business systems analysis or QA.
• Experience supporting business applications and operational processes.
• Experience with system testing, data validation, or QA preferred.
• Healthcare, insurance, benefits administration, or other regulated industry experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with Salesforce, SQL, HTML, reporting tools, or automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the accuracy, quality, and integrity of benefit plan data and documents within the Simplify Benefits1 platform.
• Partner with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to validate system outputs and resolve issues.
• Perform QA testing and validation to ensure data and outputs are accurate, compliant, and timely.
• Investigate data discrepancies, defects, and process issues; support root cause analysis and resolution.
• Validate system changes and configurations prior to implementation; participate in UAT and regression testing.
• Monitor deliverables and manage priorities to meet project timelines and commitments.
