Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a Business Systems Analyst for a fully remote position. The role focuses on QA, data validation, testing, reporting, and process improvement for benefit plan data in the Simplify Benefits1 platform.

You will collaborate with product, operations, IT and vendors, perform UAT/regression testing, monitor timelines, and support system enhancements and automation efforts. Prior healthcare/insurance workflows are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business systems analysis or QA, testing or data analysis.
• Experience with business applications and operational processes.
• System testing, data validation or QA experience preferred.
• Healthcare/insurance/benefits experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast pace.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Collaborates well with business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Simplify Benefits1 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing practices.
• Experience with Salesforce, SQL, HTML and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support accuracy, quality and integrity of benefit plan data and documents.
• Perform QA testing, data validation, and reporting to ensure compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to validate outputs and improve systems.
• Conduct UAT, regression testing, and production validation activities.
• Monitor deliverables and manage priorities to meet timelines.
• Assist with administration and enhancement of Simplify Benefits1.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and processes.
• Identify improvements to enhance efficiency, quality and scalability.
• Support automation initiatives and routine reporting needs.
