DHL eCommerce is seeking a Business Development Manager for a remote role based in New Jersey. You will acquire new business, develop strategic customer relationships, and build a robust pipeline across the territory, partnering with cross-functional teams to win, onboard, and expand our market position.

The role emphasizes deal architecture, pricing negotiations, and managing complex opportunities to drive profitable growth and long-term value for DHL eCommerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
• 7 years related sales experience calling on accounts.
• Parcel, ecommerce, and logistics experience required.
• Experience with sales activity reporting software preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of high-value prospective customers in the assigned territory.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue across multiple prospects.
• Architect deal structures balancing customer needs and DHL objectives.
• Close deals and ensure a structured handoff to implementation teams.
• Track pipeline progression, forecast accuracy, and opportunity conversion.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Client Relationship Managers, and Implementation Managers to support onboarding.
