Job summary

Rimkus in Houston seeks a Business Development Manager to promote expert services and secure new business within a defined territory. You will grow a solid client base through direct and indirect prospecting, while servicing and expanding existing accounts.

You will collaborate with the territory business unit leader to meet revenue goals, travel locally, and address client concerns with independence under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or related field.
• 5+ years of professional-level experience in consultative sales, business development, client relationship management, or account management.
• Experience in building engineering, roofing, or construction industries preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes competitive sales and relationship strategies within the assigned territory to maximize market potential and client satisfaction.
• Identifies prospective clients and develops new relationships and opportunities leveraging internal and external resources.
• Sell Rimkus services to corporate, municipal, government, and other clients to secure new accounts and repeat business.
• Maintain relationships with current clients through regular contact and promotion of value-added services.
• Plan and execute growth-focused in-person client contacts weekly to increase market penetration.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of contacts, leads, and opportunities in real time.
