eShepherd, a Gallagher venture, is recruiting a senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in the US Great Plains. Based remotely with travel, you’ll convert opportunities from prospecting to close, building strong relationships with ranchers, producers and partners.

You’ll own the sales journey end-to-end, contribute market feedback to Sales, Product and Marketing, and help scale eShepherd globally with a competitive base salary of $105,000–$120,000 and a 20% annual bonus opportunity.

Qualifikationen

• Proven business development or key account experience in solution selling.
• Ability to identify prospects and convert opportunities into closed sales.
• Experience with ranchers or agriculture.
• Knowledge of AgTech solutions and beef cattle grazing.
• Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Identifying and strategically targeting new business opportunities.
• Taking ownership of the sales journey from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Building trusted relationships with ranchers, producers, partners, distributors and industry stakeholders.
• Understanding how individual ranching operations work and positioning eShepherd around their commercial and operational needs.
• Developing opportunities through networking, prospecting, industry engagement and strong follow-up.
• Leading or supporting key account opportunities, tenders, contracts and distribution agreements.
• Maintaining strong CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and accurate sales forecasting.
• Working closely with Customer Success to support a seamless transition from sale to onboarding and ongoing customer success.
• Bringing market intelligence, customer feedback, pricing insights and competitor activity back into Sales, Product and Marketing.
• Helping build the eShepherd and Gallagher brands through industry relationships, partnerships and speaking opportunities.
