Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) seeks professional sales professionals to join the Home Improvement Lending (HIL) Business Development team. The role focuses on direct sales, building relationships with contractors, and expanding the program across multiple states.

You will develop pipelines, present solutions, and collaborate with product and marketing teams to showcase FNBO’s financing options. Remote work is supported; occasional travel may be required, with a compensation range posted.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales or account management in the HIL industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• Building relationships internally and externally; prospecting new partners, building pipeline of new business
• Ability to collaborate across teams
• Salesforce experience and ability to source and manage lead lists
• Excellent written and verbal communication is a must
• Best in class presentation skills
• Knowledge of P&L and how we make money in banking/financing
• Collaboration is key. This role will work with many areas within our matrixed organization
• Proven track record of sound decision making
• Outstanding strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop a proactive pipeline by identifying and engaging key contacts at target companies.
• Evaluate partner opportunities including RFPs and new strategic opportunities.
• Communicate company goals, vision, and product strategy to partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to showcase FNBO’s marketing tools, digital functionality, and customer solutions.
• Develop presentations, proposals, and pitches that are innovative.
• Onboard new partners and transition them into relationship management.
• Facilitate onboarding with training and documentation.
