Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Business and Data Analyst to support a federal government client. You will connect program needs with technical delivery, analyze business processes, and translate requirements for Salesforce-based applications.

This remote-friendly role requires 3–5 years of experience, Salesforce expertise, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA engineers to deliver trusted solutions within public assistance, grants, and mitigation workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field of study.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a closely related discipline.
• Salesforce Platform: hands-on professional experience with Salesforce-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and working meetings to identify business needs, clarify priorities, and define project scope.
• Document current workflows, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and develop future-state processes that improve program operations and the user experience.
• Analyze business needs within Salesforce-based applications and collaborate with Salesforce admins and developers to refine solutions.
• Translate public assistance, recovery support, grants management and mitigation-related processes into clear requirements.
• Develop and refine epics, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria for development and testing teams.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
• Analyze application and program data and help define useful reports and dashboards.
• Support user acceptance testing and document defects to ensure delivered functionality meets business needs.
