Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Business and Data Analyst with 3–5 years of experience and hands-on Salesforce expertise to support a federal government client. You will translate program needs into clear requirements and work with stakeholders, developers, and QA to deliver reliable solutions that improve processes and reporting.

This remote-first role requires U.S. residency and eligibility for Public Trust; you will help define workflows for public assistance, recovery programs, and grants

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field of study.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a closely related discipline.
• Salesforce Platform: hands-on experience with Salesforce-based applications and related workflows.
• Requirements development including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Process analysis: document current and future-state workflows and improvements.
• Stakeholder engagement with business users and technical teams.
• Technical collaboration to translate needs into actionable requirements.
• Data analysis to define reporting or dashboard needs.
• Testing and validation with QA and business users.
• Agile experience with Scrum/SAFe or similar methodologies.
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: conduct interviews and sessions to identify needs and scope.
• Business Process Analysis: map current workflows and design future-state processes.
• Salesforce Business Analysis: analyze Salesforce-based apps and data requirements.
• Program & Grants Workflows: translate requirements for grants and programs.
• User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: create epics, stories, and rules for dev and QA.
• Technical Liaison: bridge between business and technical teams to align expectations.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze data and define dashboard/reporting needs.
• Testing & Validation: support UAT and log defects to ensure requirements are met.
• Documentation & Traceability: maintain BRDs, process maps, data mappings, records.
• Agile Collaboration: participate in backlog refinement, sprints, demos; ensure consistency.
