Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform and Data Engineer to support a federal government client. This remote role within the United States requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, with hands-on Salesforce and AWS expertise.

You will help deploy, automate, integrate, and secure cloud environments and Salesforce-connected applications. You will collaborate with developers, platform specialists, and other teams to maintain infrastructure, improve data flows, and strengthen delivery processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, data engineering.
• Hands-on Salesforce platform experience and a strong AWS background.
• Experience with APIs, data integration, and ETL between Salesforce and AWS.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes / ECS / EKS).
• Programming/scripting in Python or Bash; data modeling and SQL skills.
• Familiar with security, monitoring, and compliant delivery in federal contexts.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and agile project collaboration.

Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure: build, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud resources for secure, scalable apps.
• Salesforce Platform Support: assist with Salesforce-based solutions and integrations.
• Integration & Data Management: support APIs and data flows between Salesforce and AWS.
• CI/CD & Delivery Automation: create automated pipelines with testing and security checks.
• Infrastructure as Code: develop configurations with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Containers & Microservices: deploy containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Reliability: monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve availability.
• Security & Compliance: apply secure networking, IAM, encryption, and secrets management.
