Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Process Modeler to support the VA VIPPS program. Fully remote within the United States, this role focuses on translating business needs into future-state workflows for the OneStream platform and SaaS configurations.

Core hours are 8 AM–5 PM ET, Monday–Friday. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in business analysis, federal experience, BPMN expertise, and strong requirements elicitation skills, with budgeting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements development, and/or business process analysis.
• Experience in a Federal environment and government programs.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, workshops, and storyboarding.
• Strong BPMN knowledge and Agile practices.
• Ability to design processes that leverage platform capabilities; avoid custom development.
• Budgeting experience (commitments, obligations, tracking expenditures).

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis to translate needs into future-state workflows for VIPPS/OneStream.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, storyboarding, and requirements gathering to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain BPMN-based process models aligned with goals and federal requirements.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify improvements and solutions.
• Support VIPPS implementation including requirements and process documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with Agile practices and SaaS/configurable platforms.
• Document findings and communicate models to project teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BA and modeling methodologies.
