Job summary

ICF International is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team in Puerto Rico. The role requires commuting to the Guaynabo office and travel across the island (up to 15%). The position is remote-based and relocation assistance is not provided.

You will gather requirements, analyze business processes, and develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity while collaborating with IT and business units for seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency per federal contract requirements.
• 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with data analysis and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and common data/reporting tools.
• Ability to travel up to 15% in Puerto Rico as requested.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, document requirements, and translate into functional specs.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose improvements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze business data to provide actionable insights, trends, and reports.
• Collaboration with IT and Development Teams: Ensure requirements are reflected in system enhancements.
• Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and overseeing timelines and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Communication: Support coordination between government partners and stakeholders.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation including business cases, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• Testing and Validation: Assist in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
