Job summary

Nava is seeking a Communications Designer to develop and manage our brand, applying the identity system across external and internal channels. The role will be the primary emissary of Nava's brand for internal communications and will collaborate closely with the comms team on digital, print, and social projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of design experience with branding, a strong foundation in typography and layout, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience with branding, design firm, or ad agency preferred.
• Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grid systems, and concept development.
• Proficient in web and print design processes and tools.
• Collaborates with Frontend Designers and printers.
• Experience developing brand strategy and communicating brand essence.
• Experience working with frontend developers.
• Strong creative, strategic, and analytical thinking.
• Ability to maintain big-picture view while managing details.
• Excellent communication in a remote/distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Develop Nava's brand identity system across mediums and drive adoption.
• Manage brand assets including marks, typography, and style guides.
• Oversee external brand materials and templates for recruitment and communications.
• Shape brand strategy, audience segmentation, and usage guidelines.
• Contribute to marketing strategy to raise visibility and preference.
• Support design needs on project work and internal brand processes.
• Design annual reports and event visuals; conduct user research and testing.
• Create decks and visuals for Business Development and bids.
• Assist with internal trainings branding and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with operations to manage swag, processes, and quality control.
