Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Communications Designer to own the brand and identity system across digital and print channels.

You will collaborate with the comms team to deliver consistent brand experiences for external and internal communications and drive design excellence in projects that support Nava's mission. With 5+ years in branding and design, you will shape visual strategy, create assets for marketing, and partner with frontend developers to implement design systems across

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience, with branding, design firm, or ad agency preferred.
• Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grid systems and concept development.
• Proficient with web-based and print design software/processes.
• Ability to collaborate with Frontend Designer and printer.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Google Drive, and Figma.
• Experience with brand strategy and artifacts communicating brand essence.
• Experience working with frontend developers.
• Proven track record of sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop Nava's brand identity system consistently across mediums and drive adoption within the company.
• Manage brand assets including mark, typography, style guides, illustrations, and photography.
• Oversee external brand materials, templates, email signatures, LinkedIn headers, and recruiting materials.
• Develop and maintain brand strategy, positioning, audience research, and usage guidelines.
• Support project work with visual and communications design as needed.
• Create annual reports for digital and print (e.g., Public Benefit Report, DEI Report).
• Contribute to event branding and branded materials for conferences and meetings.
• Develop decks, diagrams, and visuals for Business Development and bids.
