Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a seasoned Communications Designer to develop and manage our brand across internal and external channels.

You will steward Nava's identity, craft design systems, and produce branded materials for reports, events, and bids while collaborating with a remote-friendly team. The role emphasizes advance design skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and print/web workflows, plus experience with brand strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience with branding, design firm, or ad agency preferred.
• Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grids and concept development.
• Proficient in web and print design software and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with frontend designers and printers.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Experience developing brand strategy and artifacts communicating brand essence.
• Experience working with frontend developers.
• Track record of trusted, creative, analytical thinking.
• Attention to big picture and detail concurrently.
• Strong remote/distributed team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop Nava's brand identity system across mediums and drive adoption.
• Manage brand assets including logo, typography, style guides, imagery.
• Oversee external brand materials and recruiting content.
• Lead brand strategy research, audience segmentation, competitive landscape.
• Provide visual and communications design support on projects.
• Develop and maintain internal brand processes.
• Design annual reports for digital and print (Public Benefit, DEI).
• Contribute to event branding and branded materials for events/conferences.
• Create decks and visuals for Business Development and contracts.
• Produce templates and assets for bid teams to look branded.
• Collaborate with People Ops to brand internal trainings.
• Support BizOps with swag programs and quality control.
