Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Communications Designer to develop and manage our brand, ensuring consistent identity across external and internal channels.

You will be the primary emissary of Nava's brand for internal communications and collaborate with the comms team on digital, print, and social projects that support our strategy and goals. The role requires 5+ years of design experience with branding, a strong foundation in typography and layout, and proficiency in Adobe Creative

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience, with branding, design firm, or ad agency strongly preferred.
• Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grid systems, and concept development.
• Literacy in both web-based and print-based design software / processes.
• Ability to collaborate with Frontend Designer and printer.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat), Google Drive (Slides, Docs, Sheets) and Figma.
• Experience developing brand strategy and artifacts communicating brand essence.
• Experience working with frontend developers.
• Track record of trust through creative, strategic, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Developing Nava's brand identity system across mediums and driving adoption within the company.
• Managing brand assets including brand mark, typography, style guides, illustrations, and photography.
• Overseeing external brand materials such as templates, signatures, LinkedIn headers, and recruiting materials.
• Managing Nava's brand strategy, audience segmentation, landscape research, and usage guidelines.
• Providing design support on project work as needed.
• Maintaining Nava‑internal brand processes and branding for internal trainings.
