Job summary

HorsePower Brands is seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and support the financial operations of franchise locations. This role handles transaction categorization, accounts payable, general ledger activity, bank and credit card reconciliations, financial statement prep, and payroll review.

You will communicate financial performance to franchise owners, work across multiple accounting and CRM platforms, and ensure timely reporting in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Outlook and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn and work across multiple technology and CRM platforms.
• QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Categorize and reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant transactions.
• Record and reconcile general ledger activity from CRM platforms.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review third-party payroll processing for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies; communicate updates to franchise owners.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reporting.
• Work across multiple accounting and CRM platforms.
