Job summary

GMB Power Line Services is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting in a fast-paced, remote environment. The role handles A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, PO administration, and QuickBooks Online maintenance while ensuring policy compliance.

Construction/utility project accounting experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of working independently, and support month-end close, audits, and documentation controls across

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
• Minimum 3 years of QuickBooks Online experience.
• Experience processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience performing monthly bank reconciliations.
• Experience working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter subcontractor/vendor bills in QuickBooks Online and verify approvals.
• Process vendor payments via ACH or wire with proper documentation.
• Create customer invoices and apply payments; maintain AR records.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Maintain vendor and project records; support month-end close and audits.
