Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Technical Application Manager to advance Biopharma Production efforts. This full-time remote role travels on the West Coast, primarily Southern California, and interfaces with sales, resellers, and customers to deliver technical expertise.

You will support the sales process, resolve product issues, and promote Avantor’s Fluid Handling solutions across biologic product classes, building strong customer relationships and contributing to growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Two+ years in biopharma manufacturing or selling to biopharma.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to sales reps, resellers, and customers during the sales process.
• Perform technical sales support at customer sites or multiple sites.
• Resolve technical product/service issues and advise customers on solutions.
• Assist customers during the sales process to maximize value from Avantor products and services.
• Promote Avantor's Fluid Handling offerings to support biologic manufacturing processes.
• Support account management with technical presentations and consultative selling.
• Collaborate with sales to develop custom Single-Use products and services.
