Avantor is seeking a Biopharma Production Systems Specialist (BPSS) to support customers across the greater Boston/New England region and Canada. The role emphasizes consultation, technical sales support, and business development for Biopharma Production hardware and consumables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or life sciences; Master's degree is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Sales Strategy: Create and execute territory and account-based strategies to accelerate pipeline development and establish new customers to exceed territory goals for hardware platforms and consumables.
• Pipeline Management: Lead management of pipeline opportunities using CRM and BI tools; include needs gathering, strategy, proposals, demonstrations and pricing.
• New Business Generation: Increase regional awareness through opportunity nurturing and promotional activities like technical presentations and applications development.
• Relationship Management: Ensure post-sale satisfaction and build a network of satisfied users to drive long-term adoption.
• Product Strategy: Partner with Product Management and Strategic Marketing to define commercial product strategies and monitor success with CRM/BI tools.
• Sales Team Effectiveness: Foster learning and information sharing; support Sales Ops and Strategic Marketing to deliver training.
• Sales Process Administration: Use CRM for reporting; track sales cycle, competition, forecast and results.
• Dynamic Support: Participate in or lead other special projects as assigned.
