Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. in North Carolina is looking for a qualified candidate for a Business Development role. The ideal individual will have a technical degree, a strong background in business development within the life sciences, and the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.

The selected candidate will handle contract negotiations, explore new business opportunities, and collaborate with existing clients. A robust compensation package including salary from $184,500 to $257,000 plus benefits will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in business development in a life science industry.
• Experience in contract services or capital equipment in a life sciences industry.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or more for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and successfully close contracts for KBI services.
• Identify new potential clients and develop relationships.
• Manage existing client relationships and assist in key accounts.
