Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Sales & BD Manager Biogas & CO2 to lead commercial growth for Biogas Upgrading and CO2 Recovery & Liquefaction across the USA. The role is remote when not traveling, with 40-60% travel and preference for Midwest-based candidates.

You will develop strategic relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and investors, manage a sales pipeline in Salesforce, and lead negotiations through project handovers to execution teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, Energy Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
• Willingness to travel throughout the country (approximately 40-60%).
• Experience in biogas, RNG, renewable energy, industrial gases, wastewater treatment, or related industries strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, order intake, and pipeline targets for SPS biogas and CO2 solutions in the USA.
• Develop and execute the SPS commercial growth strategy.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
• Develop strategic relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and investors.
• Create and execute strategic account plans for key target customers.
• Promote SPS Bio-CO2 and related growth platforms to increase customer value and Pentair content.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support project handovers to execution teams.
• Represent Pentair at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events.
