Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Sales & BD Manager Biogas & CO2 to drive commercial growth for biogas upgrading and CO2 recovery solutions across the USA. The role focuses on strategic customer development, pipeline building via Salesforce, and partnerships with RNG developers and EPC contractors.

The position involves 40-60% travel, with preference for candidates located in the Midwest; remote work is possible when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, Energy Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or technical discipline) preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the country (approximately 40-60%).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience in biogas, RNG, renewable energy, industrial gases, wastewater treatment, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing new markets, building partnerships, and securing complex industrial projects.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, order intake, and pipeline targets for SPS biogas and CO2 solutions in the USA.
• Develop and execute the SPS commercial growth strategy.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
• Develop strategic relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and investors.
• Create and execute strategic account plans for key target customers.
• Promote SPS Bio-CO2 and related growth platforms to increase customer value and Pentair content.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support project handovers to execution teams.
• Represent Pentair at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events.
• Monitor market trends, incentives, regulations, and competitive developments.
