Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Sales & BD Manager Biogas & CO2 to lead commercial growth across the USA from Golden Valley, MN. You will develop relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and investors while building a robust pipeline.

The role requires a strong track record in technical sales, strategic account planning, and negotiations. Travel 40-60% with remote work flexibility and a focus on expanding biogas and bio-CO2 solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, Energy Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or technical discipline) preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the country (approximately 40-60%).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience in biogas, RNG, renewable energy, industrial gases, wastewater treatment, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing new markets, building partnerships, and securing complex industrial projects.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, order intake, and pipeline targets for SPS biogas and CO₂ solutions in the USA.
• Develop and execute the SPS commercial growth strategy.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
• Develop strategic relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and investors.
• Create and execute strategic account plans for key target customers.
• Promote SPS Bio-CO₂ and related growth platforms to increase customer value and Pentair content.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support project handovers to execution teams.
• Represent Pentair at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events.
• Monitor market trends, incentives, regulations, and competitive developments.
