Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Sales & BD Manager Biogas & CO2 to drive nationwide growth from the USA. The role focuses on RNG, Biogas Upgrading, and CO2 Recovery & Liquefaction, building partnerships and a strong project pipeline.

You will travel 40–60%, developing strategic relationships and leading negotiations while promoting growth platforms. Remote work is possible when not traveling; Midwest preference, but nationwide candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field required; MBA/technical Masters preferred.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% across the USA.
• Minimum 10 years in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience in biogas, RNG, renewable energy, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing new markets, building partnerships and securing complex projects.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales, order intake, and pipeline targets for SPS biogas and CO2 solutions in the USA.
• Develop and execute the SPS commercial growth strategy.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
• Develop strategic relationships with RNG developers, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and investors.
• Create and execute strategic account plans for key target customers.
• Promote SPS Bio-CO2 and related growth platforms to increase customer value and Pentair content.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support project handovers to execution teams.
• Represent Pentair at industry conferences, trade associations, and customer events.
• Monitor market trends, incentives, regulations, and competitive developments.
