Job summary

Envision Radiology, LLC is seeking a remote Billing Supervisor to lead and manage the payments function. The role oversees day-to-day billing operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness, while coordinating with Leadership and Department Managers for optimal revenue cycle performance.

The ideal candidate has healthcare billing experience, strong supervision skills, and a proactive approach to process improvements within a remote work setting.

Qualifications

• Three plus years’ experience in healthcare billing with knowledge of coding, third party payer’s billing requirements, authorizations and collections.
• Previous management experience with staff supervision.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily leadership and operations support to the payments team within Billing Services, supervising payment systems and staff.
• Speaks to workflow strategy for posting ERA, patient and lockbox payments.
• Monitors insurance payers and provides reimbursement reporting to management.
• Acts as escalation point for the team and other departments, assisting in payer issue resolution.
• Maintains staffing schedules and ensures compliance, training and engagement.
• Identifies process improvements and standardization opportunities.
• Coordinates with other department supervisors and leadership; liaises with Centers and vendors.
• Keeps up-to-date on cash application processes and regulatory guidelines.
