Job summary

Envision Radiology is seeking a remote Billing Supervisor to lead and optimize the billing functions, ensuring accurate posting and timely revenue collection.

You will supervise the payments team, coordinate ERA imports and postings, and partner with leadership to improve cash flow and payer performance.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare billing with supervision experience, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three plus years’ experience in healthcare billing with a strong working knowledge of coding, third party payer’s billing requirements, authorizations and collections
• Previous Management experience required with experience in staff supervision
• Knowledge in medical terminology
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Provides daily leadership to the payments team and supervises systems and staff
• Speaks to workflow strategy for importing and posting ERA, patient and lockbox payments
• Monitors payer reimbursement reporting and shares insights with Management
• Acts as escalation resource and resolves payer issues
• Supervises staffing schedules and maintains compliance and trainings
• Identifies process improvements and standardization opportunities
• Coordinates with department leaders and vendors for clear communications
• Assists with training, orientation, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions
• Forecasts staffing needs with HR for interviews
• Other duties as assigned
