Job summary

Envision Radiology is seeking a remote Billing Supervisor to lead the payments team and oversee the daily billing operations, ERA import, posting, and cash application. This role ensures accurate, timely posting and drives process improvements across the revenue cycle.

You will collaborate with leadership, monitor payer reimbursements, and develop staffing plans. A Bachelor’s in Business/Finance or healthcare experience is preferred; strong supervisory and communication skills are essential for

Qualifications

• Three plus years’ experience in healthcare billing with knowledge of coding, payer requirements, authorizations and collections.
• Previous Management experience with staff supervision.
• Knowledge in medical terminology.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and operations support to the payments team within Billing Services.
• Spearhead workflow to import and post ERA, patient and lockbox payments.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on insurance payer reimbursements.
• Serve as escalation resource and assist in resolving payer issues.
• Supervise and maintain staffing schedules.
• Maintain compliance, policies, trainings, and engagement.
• Investigate complex payments issues with internal/payor/vendor teams.
• Collaborate with department leaders and vendors on communications.
• Stay informed on cash application, third party requirements, and regulations.
• Identify process improvements and standardization.
• Assist with training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
• Forecast staffing needs with HR.
