Cox Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team, either remotely or in Cherryville, NC. This role focuses on accurate billing, coding, auditing, and communicating with service providers and team members within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and is ideal for someone organized with strong attention to detail, capable of handling elevated workload while growing within the billing operations team.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work with precision.
• Experience with data entry and document handling specifically for invoices.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews to verify no discrepancies and customers' approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
