Cox Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join the Billing team supporting Cox Fleet operations from Cherryville, NC or remotely. The role focuses on accurate coding, auditing, and processing invoices and collaborating with service providers and team members to keep billing workflows moving.

You will contact providers about discrepancies, mark invoices as WACC, perform VMRS coding, handle rebills for Roadside and TMCare, and index invoices in the workflow system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience with data entry and billing processes.
• Familiarity with VMRS coding is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews to ensure no discrepancies and customer approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices to ensure correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.
