Cox Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team in Cherryville, NC or remote. This role supports accurate and timely billing operations for the Cox Fleet by coding, auditing, and processing invoices, resolving discrepancies with service providers, and ensuring workflows are completed efficiently.

The position emphasizes accuracy, organization, and growth within a fast-paced billing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required; data entry skills essential.
• Experience with VMRS coding and billing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume workloads.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews to ensure no discrepancies and verify customer approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices for correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.
