Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team in Cherryville, NC or remote. This role focuses on accurate billing, communication with service providers, and processing invoices for Cox Fleet.

The position requires coding and auditing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely workflow. A High School Diploma or GED is required; VMRS coding experience is a plus. Strong data-entry skills and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews to ensure no discrepancies and customer approval limit to proceed.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices to ensure correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.
