Job summary

ExactCare Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for billing in a remote Ohio-based role. You will support patient care from a closed-door environment, handling prescription data, authorizations, transfers, and billing tasks.

You will operate in a fast-paced setting, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate medication profiles and timely on-boarding of patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified with the PTCB or NHA and maintain current certificate.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional phone-based customer service experience daily.
• Enter a high volume of prescription data with speed and accuracy.
• Receive prescription authorizations and transfers, and clarify as needed.
• Perform claim adjudication, prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
