Job summary

Medix is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a remote role with our client. You will handle calls and messages about delivery status, address billing issues, troubleshoot pharmacy cases, and coordinate with doctors' offices to manage refill requests.

Strong customer service is essential to handle patient escalations. Candidates should have 1.5+ years of CPhT experience, 1+ year in Pharmacy Billing, 1+ year in customer service, and a valid Texas or Colorado CPhT license.

Qualifications

1.5+ years of CPhT experience
1+ years of Pharmacy Billing experience
1+ years of Customer Service experience
Active CPhT license in good standing with the Texas Board of Pharmacy or Colorado Board of Pharmacy, valid for at least three months

Responsibilities

Work in four queues: calls, messaging, billing, and intake.
Engage with patients via phone or messaging for delivery status and billing issues.
Prepare and submit third-party insurance claims for billing issues.
Troubleshoot complex pharmacy cases.
Maintain high-quality customer service during patient escalations.
Collaborate with doctors' offices on refill requests and authorizations.
Participate in camera-on training sessions and adhere to dress codes.
