Qualifications

• Experience of working in a large physician clinic.
• Proficient in working with Payer Vendor websites.
• Ability to work with multiple screens in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter and capable of working independently at home.
• Must be patient, empathetic, reliable and flexible.
• Excellent documentation/reporting skills.
• Adheres to CRMS policies and HIPAA regulations.
• 3+ years as Payment Posting Specialist in a hospital or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Post payments from patients and third parties.
• Adjust patient accounts.
• Process incoming payments.
• Verify write-offs.
• Fax medical records to third parties as requested.
• Scan documents.
• Confirm refunds to patients and third parties.
• Identify payer issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
