Job summary

Zotec Partners, a national leader in healthcare payment solutions, is seeking a Payment Posting Specialist for a remote role. You will research posting issues and ensure payments are applied accurately to patient accounts, coordinating with banks, clients, attorneys, and insurance carriers.

The role requires strong EOB understanding and communication skills. Candidates should be detail oriented, able to multitask, and proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Knowledge of payment processes from insurance carriers, patients, and HSAs.
• Ability to work within deadlines and in high volume conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat products.
• Ability to multi-task and deal with change constructively.
• Ability to follow through, identify roadblocks and provide resolution scenarios.
• Must be detail oriented, be able to work independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in maneuvering in Insurance Carrier websites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Pleasant phone manner when communicating with outside resources.
• Medical billing office and payment posting knowledge is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Research payment posting issues and ensure payments are applied to patient accounts accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with Banks, Clients, Attorneys and Insurance Carriers to resolve posting issues.
