• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Payment Posting Specialist in a Hospital or Medical office.
• Proficient with payer vendor websites and data entry.
• Ability to work independently in a remote home office.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.
• Adheres to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments from patients and third parties.
• Processing incoming payments.
• Verifying write-offs.
• Faxing medical records to third parties as requested.
• Confirming refunds to patients and third parties.
• Identify payer issues and help resolve them.
