Job summary

The TEKsystems Payment Poster role is based in Baltimore, MD and supports the billing team by posting payments, processing charge entries, reconciling accounts, and researching discrepancies while assisting with EPIC work queues.

This 100% onsite, first-shift position requires 2–3+ years in healthcare payment posting, strong Excel skills, and excellent customer service. You will handle patient calls and contribute to revenue cycle functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3+ years of payment posting experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with charge entry, payment reconciliation, and medical billing functions.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with EOBs, remittances, manual posting, and payment research.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Post insurance and patient payments accurately and timely.
• Set up patient payment plans and process copays.
• Perform charge entry and payment reconciliation.

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00/hour

Work Environment

Large healthcare office environment, 100% onsite, full-time, first shift. Business casual dress code.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hour

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

The Payment Poster will support the billing team by posting payments, processing charge entries, reconciling accounts, researching payment discrepancies, and assisting with EPIC work queues.
