Job Summary

The Payment Posting Specialist is responsible for posting payments from patients and third-party payers, handling a range of finance-related tasks. Familiarity with lockbox files and strong data entry skills are important to the everyday roles of a Payment Posting Specialist. Likewise, they are expected to have effective communication skills and pay close attention to detail, as they are responsible for evaluating and verifying the information on Explanation of Benefit statements.

• Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Payment Posting Specialist within a Hospital or Medical office setting.

Physical Requirements

Remote office work with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Viewing monitors for a long period of time which may cause eye strain
