Ogletree Deakins seeks a Billing Compliance Specialist to ensure accurate matter rate setup, discount posts, and compliant ebilling submissions. The role involves coordinating with attorneys and staff to uphold billing guidelines, preparing eBills, and supporting appeals as needed.

The successful candidate will manage client-specific billing requirements, generate reports, and contribute to process improvements while working within a multi-state environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of eBilling, collections, and invoice processing procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced skills with eBilling platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review client billing guidelines and manage rates in ebilling systems.
• Maintain a list of special arrangements, billing guidelines, attorney preferences, and fee structures.
• Submit timekeeper data for client approval via email or ebilling system.
• Work with LEDES format for invoice submissions to clients.
• Assist eBilling Appeals team and Billing Attorneys to address invoice reductions and appeals.
• Generate reports and invoices for financial/historical data analysis.
• Resolve complex billing issues with the Billing Attorney and client.
• Prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
