Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite for billing, invoicing, and financial reporting
• Experience using Salesforce for managing customer/account data and syncing with billing workflows
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, and reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Understanding of GAAP and basic revenue recognition principles

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contracts, pricing agreements, and company policies
• Reconcile billing data against contracts, purchase orders, and service records to ensure accuracy
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
• Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds as needed
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation for audit purposes
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracy
• Assist with month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations
• Generate billing reports and metrics for management review
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and systems
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and applicable regulations
