Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a bilingual Physician to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. You will provide virtual-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members across designated states, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care via audio, video, and written communication.

This remote role reports to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care and offers full-time schedules with day and evening shifts, plus a weekend rotation every four weeks.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from accredited program.
• Board Certification (ER/FM/IM).
• Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak).
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of delivering virtual care/telemedicine.
• Active licenses in multiple states via IMLC or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care to Oscar Health members.
• Collaborate with care team for complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and communications.
• Utilize remote exams and home monitoring tools.
• Participate in team meetings and care coordination.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Support workflow and product improvement.
