Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a bilingual Physician to join our Virtual Urgent Care team, delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care to Oscar Health Insurance members via audio, video, and written communication.

The role reports to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care, and requires MD/DO, board certification, Spanish fluency, and relevant urgent care and telemedicine experience for a full‑time remote schedule.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certification (ER/FM/IM).
• Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak).
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care/telemedicine.
• Active licenses in Tennessee and Florida via IMLC; willing to license additional states.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team when needed for complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Use tools to enable virtual exams, including remote home monitoring and telemedicine.
• Participate in collaborative care model with nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and supervisors.
• Attend required meetings to support patient care (huddles, case conferencing, All Hands).
• Provide feedback to support improvements in operational workflows and product features.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
