Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a bilingual physician to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. You will provide virtual-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members across designated states, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care via audio, video, and written communication.

This remote, full‑time role offers day and evening shifts with one weekend every four weeks, reporting to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certification in ER, FM or IM.
• Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak).
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of delivering virtual care/telemedicine.
• Active licenses in Tennessee and Florida via the IMLC.
• Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance.
• Compact license from IMLCC or eligible for a compact license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team as needed when working with complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers as needed.
• Use tooling to allow virtual exams including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics.
• Participate in collaborative care model with various care team members.
• Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles and case conferencing.
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
