Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a bilingual Physician to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. You will deliver virtual-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members across designated states, using audio, video, and written communication, reporting to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

This full-time remote role requires MD/DO, board certification in ER/FM/IM, and Spanish fluency, with 3+ years of outpatient urgent care/ED and 2+ years telemedicine experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from accredited program
• Board Certification (ER/FM/IM)
• Spanish fluency (read, write and speak)
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience
• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care/telemedicine
• Must be onboarded with active licenses in multiple states via the IMLC
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting
• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
• Use tooling to allow virtual exams including remote monitoring equipment
• Participate in collaborative care model with care team members
• Participate in required meetings to support patient care
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
