Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is seeking a bilingual physician to join our Virtual Urgent Care team, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members across designated states via audio, video, and written communication. You will report to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

We offer full-time, five-day schedules with day and evening shifts and a weekend rotation. This remote role requires residency in one of the permitted states and ongoing licensure, with base pay

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak)

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting
• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team as needed when working with complex patients
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers as needed
• Use tooling to allow virtual exams including remote home monitoring equipment and remote diagnostics
• Participate in collaborative care model with care team members including nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor
• Attend required meetings to support patient care including huddles and case conferencing
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
