Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Physician Assistant to join the Virtual Health Assessment team. This remote role supports Oscar Health members with evaluations, care plans, and health coaching from home, working with Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care as needed.

The ideal candidate is a PA with NCCPA certification, 3+ years in outpatient settings, and the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states including GA/FL/TX/OH.

Qualifications

• PA from accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA).
• Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures.
• Licensed in Georgia and one of the following states: Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
• Bilingual - Spanish fluency (read, write, & speak).
• Ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose conditions and provide health coaching, referrals and treatment when appropriate.
• Outreach members who are more chronically ill based on health information.
• Engage members who have a lower probability of seeing their PCP.
• Identify areas in the member's medical journey to improve access to care with a licensed provider.
• Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service line.
• Interact with members virtually, including virtual assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
