The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, experienced in ModMed, and comfortable with AI tools, VoIP systems, and proactive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Medical Virtual Assistant or healthcare admin experience.
• Hands-on ModMed experience is mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating new patients.
• Experience handling inbound/outbound patient communications.
• HIPAA knowledge and data protection awareness.
• Comfort with AI tools, automation, and VoIP systems.
• Analytical, problem-solving and independent work skills.
• Business development mindset for patient engagement and growth.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and coordinate new patient appointments.
• Manage follow-ups and patient communication.
• Respond to patient emails and calls professionally.
• Make outbound calls to patients when needed.
• Follow up on missed calls to protect opportunities.
• Provide bilingual patient support in English and Spanish.
• Monitor and respond to patient reviews while HIPAA compliant.
• Analyze workflows and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support AI, automation, and VoIP workflows with human follow-up.
• Assist with reporting and operational analytics.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and business growth.
