Job summary

State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Health Care Customer Service Representatives to handle inbound and outbound calls, resolving questions about insurance, billing and payments. This remote role requires meeting minimum internet speeds and may require evening and Saturday shifts.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1+ years in a call center or customer service role, and knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing, are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a call center or customer service function with front-facing public contact.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment.
• Resolve general questions regarding insurance, financial assistance, and processing payments.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies when carrying out duties.
• Respond to information requests from patients/account holders in a professional, thorough manner.
