Job summary

State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Health Care Customer Service Representatives for remote work. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, resolve billing and payment questions, and follow client protocols.

Bilingual candidates will provide additional support for bilingual calls. The role requires 1+ year of customer service or call center experience, knowledge of medical terminology or health insurance is a plus, and the ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience working in Call Center or Customer Service where contact with the public was a part of daily duties
• Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred
• Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling, including regular evening and Saturday shifts

Responsibilities

• Makes and answers calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues
• Responds to requests for information by patient/account holders in a professional, thorough manner
• Follows client-specific protocols and policies when carrying out duties
