Job summary

International SOS is seeking a Bid Writer to join our US-based team, focusing on coordinating and delivering high-quality responses to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders across the Americas.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal and other subject matter experts to gather content, ensure compliance with client requirements, and drive win-rate through compelling proposals. A minimum of 2 years in bid writing and proficiency with proposal tools is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bid writing and proposal development experience.
• Experience using bid management tools, CRMs, and content management systems.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve proposal development while maintaining compliance.
• End-to-end proposal development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination, writing, and submission of high-quality responses to RFPs, RFQs, tenders, and other opportunities.
• Manage proposal activities throughout the bid lifecycle, ensuring adherence to bid processes, timelines, and governance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other SMEs to gather information and develop content.
• Produce clear, persuasive, client-focused responses that communicate value propositions.
• Ensure submissions are compliant with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Manage proposal document control, reviews, approvals, and version control through final submission.
• Coordinate bid reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve quality.
• Support bid qualification (bid/no-bid) activities and identify risks.
• Manage client clarification requests and post-submission activities as required.
• Maintain proposal content, templates, and knowledge repositories; contribute to process improvements.
• Effectively manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Support Regional Bid Management Director on strategic projects and initiatives.
